Well i have 77 911S with 84 3.2l 930 front fenders steel rear fenders, its also a cabrio now. It has 19" rims on it. Its in for paint right now but when it gets back i have to put the interior in and tie rods, window regulator, fuel tank and lots of odds and ends. I really do not have a clue what i am doing. This is my first time working on a porsche so any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Give me a call when you get your car back. You can look at my '76 to see where some of the parts go.

Just down the road from you in Hamilton. Hopefully you'll have the car ready in time to join us on a couple fun runs this summer! Watch the Canada forum for postings about them. We did a couple last year and had a blast.

Welcome to the boards - you've found probably the single best source for info on older 911s. There are very few problems the folks on these boards can't solve, or at least help with.

Got any pics? Sounds like a great ride!

Chris

Hey Bruni911,
Is your Cab silver?
I saw a silver cab with big wheels tonight on King George Road.
There can't be too many in Brantford.

That's funny, what are the odds of spotting you on one of your first drives? Mine is silver as well. We'll have to get together for a drive.

What year is your car Dave?
Ben Mar on Paris Road has a cruise night every Saturday through the summer.
I've only been there once, but there were no Porsches, mostly Camaro's and Mustangs, very few imports.
It would be cool to line up 2 or 3 Porsches amongst all that American Iron.

I live just down the road in Ayr. I too have a silver 911 - its a '79SC. I'm doing a full rebuild/upgrade on the engine at the moment so no fun runs for me but if you have questions, need tools, manuals, etc I can probably help (or if you want to see the insides of these engines...)

I have 73 & 74 914 2.0 cars.
If you need brake caliper help, I may be able to assist since I do quite a few caliper rebuilds. I'm looking for 911 rear cores at the moment.

I have a dismantled set of front and rear '68 calipers. They are for solid rotors.
Will they help?
