where can I find Swpeco 201

I there anyone in Canada that can supply this at a reasonable price?
Ottawa, Montreal, Laval are on my regular route so that would be great. Canadian mail order would be next.

Search this forum.

Bearing and Transmission can supply.

I can't find any Bearing and Transmission in Quebec or Ontario.
Are there any? is it called something else? is there an equivalent?
I'll call around the shops that deal with bearing or transmission tomorrow, any tips?

Try Transmission supply. I always get the 2 mixed up. They are an industrial supply chain.

Yes but at 80$ per jug, they do not qualify as reasonable!
This stuff can be found for ~35$ in the US and it is 40$ on ebay.
I'll keep looking

Lenny's Automega in Toronto supposedly stocks it. If they don't blame Mark930. :)

The place is Bearing and Transmission. I bought a case from them a few years ago, the cost was reasonable. They have branches across Canada.

http://www.bandt.com/ is their website.

I just looked at the map that shows all of their locations and it looks like they are only located in the important half of the country... ;-D

Try calling their sales rep:
His name is Steve Couldrey and you may reach him at (519) 836-1823.

He is in Guelph, but should be able to direct you.
fwiw, I bought a case a while ago and paid, iirc, less than &35 per gallon.
maybe a group purchase should be arranged

If automega doesn't have, they can get it.

When I was there last week, I ordered some as they were out. I think it's 65 or so a jug.

unclebilly 05-21-2007 08:24 PM

I bought a case from Bearing and Transmission (recently bought out by someone else) and with GST and everything it was $240.97 for all 6 gallons that a fellow pelican shared with me.

Leny's was a little pricey for my taste... so I just did the same (bought a case). If anyone in Toronto needs some, I have a case.

Porsche_monkey 05-23-2007 06:09 AM

Geez, a guy drives a $100,000 turbo but he's too cheap to pay Lenny an extra $5.00 for Swepco.

Just kidding. I've installed the Swepco you gave me Mark, Saturday is scheduled for try-out.

mark '87 930 05-23-2007 06:11 AM

If you are willing to even give me half of that ($50K) for mine, I'd sell it to you in a second!!!

nice to hear you are almost ready to go, I was going to stop in this AM but it was getting late.
