North Cascade Loop Tour - Wash and BC

PCA - Canada West is hosting the following tour and social. Join us along the way.

Starting point will be Blaine, Washington. We will meet at the ESSO station at the intersection of Boblet and Yew just south of the truck crossing. We will be leaving this location at 8:00 AM heading south on Interstate 5.

Next stop will be the Grand Prix Espresso coffee shop in Burlington. The business owner is also a Porsche owner. Some of our eastern FV friends will join us at this location. I hope to have some Washington folks join us too. We will leave here at 9:15 AM heading east on Hwy 20.

Throughout the trip, rest and gas stops will be as needed. This will be a casual, fun tour.

Lunch will be at a pub/resturant in Twisp. Several of us have been here before – they serve great pub food.

From here we head to Osoyoos. I estimate being in Osoyoos around 4:00 PM. We will be staying at the Avalon Inn in Osoyoos. http://www.avaloninn.ca

Please make your own reservations direct at 1-800-264-5999. Because Osoyoos is always busy during the summer weekends, there is no discount available for us. Room rates are $129 to $159.

We have a reservation for a private winery tour at Nk'Mip Cellars for 5:00 PM. There is a small fee per person for this tour and wine tasting. After the tour we will have an evening social back at the Avalon Inn. There is a courtyard and BBQ available for our use. We can pick up few party trays (I will arrange), something for the BBQ and enjoy some of that superb local wine on a great Osoyoos evening. For those wanting something else to eat, there are many great restaurants nearby.

The following morning will be breakfast (TBD) with a departure of 9:00 AM from Osoyoos heading west on Hwy 3.

Lunch will be at the Manning Park Lodge.

We will finish the trip at The Tim Horton’s in Abbotsford - just north of Costco. We should be back here around 4:00 PM.
