Question Porsche North Revival?

That would be nice.

Sometime in August or September, date to be decided depending on interest.

We used to do it for a few years centred in Salmon Arm but not recently.

After the latest warnings from DFO about overdeveloping Shuswap Lake, Jim Cooperman may hold a Symposium on Water in August which I would be interested in attending but any date is fine.

From Salmon Arm, we could go to Revelstoke, then with the Ferry across the Arrow Lake to Nakusp and New Denver-Silverton on to Kaslo? Or Nelson?

Suggestions welcome.

After this years CanAm and the Kootenay run, another drive before the PCA-weekend at Sunpeaks would be nice.

Garage
I would like to do a trip like this if it didn't conflict with other commitments.

Good idea Gunter!

I just won't be able to join you guys, as I sold my street car last month. (I'm thinking that a Ram 3500 turbo-diesel isn't the best vehicle to have on such a trek).

I've got the email contacts from the 2 Porsche North's that Warren and I organized back in the day if you want me to send them to you.

I've been to an outhouse in Banff - why do I need to go to the Shuswaps!?!

Just kidding. I'm same as Unclebilly -> no conflicts = fun trip.

Good points.
Salmon Arm would be the meeting place.
Once a date is established, anyone participating would just make their own arrangements for Hotels in SA and Nelson.
Best Western or?
Starting at 8:00 AM from the Best Western Parking Lot in SA.
Until the City has the new Sewage Treatment Plat up and running, swimming in Shuswap Lake is not recommended but a dip in the Upper Arrow Lakes is possible if it fits in time-wise.

Anyone going to Seattle for July 4th?

That trip in '06 was one of my first and favorite! Speeds got a little nutty at times but the weather and scenery was incomparable. That was the year we raised some cash for a couple of our group that got to meet the local constabulatory before they even got going. Very gentlemanly gesture, IMO.

You can count me in, of course depending on any other more important engagements.
