Update

OK here's a couple more current shots of my garage.

OK, I really just wanted to show everyone Ruby's new look. She's got a new ducktail and fibreglass rear bumper with 911r taillights. Probably took 40 lbs off her arse. She's got new Fikse 17's because I couldn't get tires for the 16x9's and finally, silver stripes to kinda match the wheels.

Ruby goes to the track this Thursday....can't wait. With a little luck the tranny will hold together. Blew up second gear last year but replaced it with a slightly larger gear from a 4 speed. Since that she's had several track days including 3 days at Tremblant and 3 days at Calabogie. So far so good. YEE HAH !!!

You might not want to hear this, but Bridgestone has just released a new RE11 in 245/45-16. Oh, well, the Fikses look great.

I just spent part of the winter preparing a nursery for the new baby.
3 car attached with a drive-through back door on the third bay to a pad out back.

Finally got my 4 post lift, not only for working on but to gain a heated spot back in the winter is a bonus. The garage is getting closer to where I want it, but we all know it is never finished.

Joe, it wasn't totally for free.. From the overwhelming appreciation, I did name my first born after you... (almost).

At the moment...

But this summer, the garage will get:
  • painted semi-gloss white after the finishing off the drywall.
  • a ceiling mounted natural gas heater.
  • air conditioning.
  • airlines plumbed in from the huge compressor in the basement.
  • lots of fluorescent lighting.
  • various 240 V outlets.
  • a solid workbench.
  • the floor lined with flex tiles (later).

No tool boxes, tools, parts, etc. to get in the way, just clear empty space, a lathe/mill, a car and a few motorcycles.

Hello fellow Canadian Pelicans, I'm a recent addition to the forum and located in the Niagara Region, specifically St. Catharines. Always a pleasure to talk Porsche, if you're ever passing through...

Mike
