You know, it goes to show how "marked up" prices are up here. Check out a Canadian Tire flyer (or anybody's) and you'll see 50%, 70% off.

Ever see jugs of Mobil 1 on sale at Walmart in the US. Hardly and if you do, its $4 off at the most, unlike up here where it is discounted from $50 to about $32.

You just don't see those discounts in the US simply because they do not have rip off pricing to start with.

Nov 30, Canadian Tire "Flash Cyber Sale" pay online pick up at your store.... I just bought a $250.00 set of wrenches, Flare nut and ratcheting box end wrenches for $50.00!!!!!! I really only needed the flare nut wrenches but at that price I will surely find a home for the other ones as well!!!! Plus this gives the "wife" a little more ammo to defend herself when I start picking on her over her shoe collection!!!

Made up of 3 individual kits. After Mike posting I went on line, there was only a few left in Ottawa. I try to reserve but the web side was freezing.

I went to the store and they had 2 left but the price rang at $69.99.

Went to customer service and the young girl in charge spent 20 minutes on the computer to place my order. Exceptional Customer Service when one consider that its in Canada...

So were talking $2.50 a piece that are warranty for life

Hell, my three Snap-On torque wrenches alone cost way more.

Tools don't cost money. They make you money due to huge savings.

Perfect for Engine Drop...

It will do a 993 3.6 with the transmission bold on.

That's an excellent deal.

One thing about using this with a engine/trans, the table is slippy as heck, I almost lost an engine off it.
I made a simple cradle out of plywood, much safer now.

Not putting miles on your car is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.

Do you have any pics of it.

I made this one back in 2013 and it worked like a charm on my first engine drop. The top is 2' x 4' in size with a piece of high density plastic foam placed on it for the engine/transmission to sink into thereby eliminating the need for all those carved out wood bits.

And the cart takes down for storage in the basement.

Hey Alex
I like your idea of the high density foam for engine/transmission stabilization - I am gonna steal it for my own application. Thanks for sharing.
Merry Christmas to you & yours
Cheers

This is for an early sump plate style case.
I was able to make this easy because the engine was on a stand, It mostly sits on the sump plate and centerline of case, the outriggers sit on the bottom of the cam towers. The drilled areas are to clear the sump nuts and drain plug. The hole clears the flywheel area of the case. Obviously you can't use this with the exhaust installed.
The other issue is the handle was in the way, I just take it off and let it hang to the side during install.
