Sooo where do you put that P-car or Bugatti?
I was at our trailer storage place yesterday and noticed a "special" set of garages being built next door. I asked the lot ower what's the scoop, and they are luxury garages that are being built that you can buy and customize.
"Sounds cool" I say, " for $275,000 they better be" he says" WHAT?! So I thought, I just bought my second Veyron and where so I store it? hmmm, not on my 100 Acre property with 10 car garage, I should go out and spent way too much on a garage that is a good drive away from me, that I don't really "own"....? Check it out: The Dens at Springbank - your luxury garage community Thoughts? Bob |
THere were (are) quite a number of people who rent hanger space at the Springbank airport to store their toys, so I can see the same group liking the idea of something similiar that they own, and can customize

I know of a place in Okotoks that has a similar business model, if nit so high end.
Interestingly, I was reading the latest issue of Top Gear mag and there is a place (three, actually) in Berlin called Meilenwerk that is part storage, part museum and a whole lot of other amazing things. When I head over to see the Euros next summer I am definitely stopping in for a look. T. |
I read about the concept last year somewhere (here last year?).....People living "downtown" in condos/apts have no place to store/work on projects so they are buying these types of buildings.

Not really sold on that idea. Don't like having my cars so far away and if I'm looking for storage, the place in Okotoks is a lot cheaper.
275k is starting price. Comes with really nothing but a concrete box. The show suite is north of 300k and approaching $400k. I can buy a house in nearby Cochrane with a double attached garage. |
