Parts Needed \ WTB

this is the flip side to Jim's thread here........Parts For Sale

Post parts needed here.

a lot of us have parts that we'll never get around to listing for sale. with the rising costs of cross-border shipping we can all save money dealing in-country as much a possible.

let's keep it within Canada and please limit to wanted-to-buy parts only. use Jim's thread for items for sale.

wanted - flat six fuchs

need a single or pair, mid-year flat six. surface condition not really important as long as it's straight and there's no major curb rash. Don.

Cool Idea!
Check back on my list because it will grow for sure.
Many engine rebuild new parts I'll get off out host, but if you have anything for a 3.0 SC let me know.
Of course I'm looking for 914/6 conversion bits.

one 3.0 SC head I need one '78-'79 or a ROW bigport 3.0 head to-'83

80-83 3.0SC 225mm flywheel big hole, 9-bolt.
Like the left on in the first pic except a big hole centre, unfortunately the later 930 (right) flywheel 240mm will not work.
I will be making a conversion ring like the one at the top of the pic.

Not putting miles on your car is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.

Looks like it according to our host's parts catalogue:

Quote:
Rear seat belts didn't appear in most 911s until 1978. However, the bolt holes for mounting the rear seat belts were incorporated into each chassis. Therefore, you can upgrade your pre-1978 Porsche with seat belts from the 1978 and later 911SCs. A common wear item on the rear seat belt is the plastic sleeve that the belt rides in. Unfortunately, the outside plastic sleeve is only replaceable if you purchase the entire rear seat belt assembly.
Who knew that my car never had rear belts?

So, what are you looking to get for your set? PM, if you'd prefer.

Give me a day or two to check their condition and I'll PM you. They are surplus to my needs so happy for them to go to a happy home.

Long shot since here aren't many around

914 1974

WTB

Good dash, no cracks, no dents etc.
Chrome front and rear bumpers, no dents, chrome must be good driver quality
Pretty much any rubber seals, targa top, doors, etc
Uprated pistons/cylinders, want to keep the fuel injection, so can't go much bigger, or high CR, but a bit more oomph would be nice.
Rear shocks/springs thinking 140lb springs
Rear and front sway bars and fittings
Front fog lamps and mounts. As well as chrome grills

Anything else you have mention it, I might be interested

1986 944 NA

Dark brown dash, no cracks, no fading
