917 Replica project, In Ontario!

Hello there!

I'm VERY new to the porsche world in terms of actually owning one, but I've grown up with Porsche on my mind!

My all-time favourite car is, as you guessed by my name, the mighty 917. Anyhow, Since I have not millions of dollars to own a real 917, the next best thing Build a replica!!!!
the idea came to me when I saw this site

So time to begin, but where do you begin? well Blueprints!
so I've got some leads, but need to get ahold of an accurate set of bluerints of the core chassis. I've found some good ones on this site, but now I'm waiting to hear from pelicanparts about obtaining a set of "real" VS virtual blueprints

I've got other leads on actual parts to use to have copies made as I'd rather use copies and leave the real parts for the real 917's

I too will use a 911 flat 6, but hope to add a dual turbo system and have a similar setup to a 935 moby dick along with the horsepower!

Now I need to make a plan of action when it comes to the engine. as the chassis and body are not big concernes of mine, I will find blueprints and body molds to use, but the engine, gearbox and fule system are something I will need help with!


So if you guys know of any place besides this one to get good info on I'd appreciate it!
