Help! Need to get rattle can spray paint off my Audi
I am an idiot. I was spray painting my mailbox and got a boat load of overspray on my Audi that was about 15 feet away (damn wind). You can't really see it, but the hood is rough to the touch. Anyone out there know if I use paint thinner, acetone, or the like that it will get off the spray paint without ruining my clear coat. Thanks in advance.

Ouch...
But I wouldn't use any thinner...yet. I might even consider a body shop, but I'd first start with the least aggressive options...try claying the finish and see if the clay will pull any of the roughness off. If that doesn't do it, I'd try a mild polishing compound. You don't want to be any more aggressive than you have to.

For future searchers, I was able to get it off with a clay bar. Thanks for the replies!
