Original custom color was "limon" as seen in the 1974 picture taken near Stuttgart with my brother David standing by (he was an Army Cobra gunship pilot)

Performance Upgrades

Engine / Under the Hood 1989 3.2 Motronic engine upgrade completed in 2013. Wong Chip, Triad jet-hot-coated 1-5/8 headers, 901 sideshifter, KEP Stage 1 clutch, sport muffler as fitted in Germany; oem GT Behr front oil cooler fed by 911 external oil thermostat/valve.

HISTORY: Original engine was a 2-litre 911R making about 200hp, #6400815, built by Wolfgang Dworazik; that was replaced in 1973 by Dworazik with a current Porsche 2.4-S #6522249 (as appeared in the 916), and that engine was race-prepped in 1977 at much expense into a 2.8 with 10.5:1 CR with new Redline 40IDAs and PMO tall manifolds, MSD, etc; car was raced that way thru 2001.

In 2002, the 2.8 race-prepped case, P/C's & heads were then swapped for a new 7R case with updated turbo oiling system, 2.7 heads and RS P/C's to build a 2.7 street engine which was removed in 2012 and sold in 2013. A Spare oem-914/6 2.0 long block was sold in 2011
3.2 ready for install

Suspension decambered Competition Rallye struts with Bilstein Sport inserts; reinforced trailing arms & GT chassis strengthening kit (as oem built at Werks 1),

Upgrades: SC A-calipers have replaced oem 911s-alloy calipers, SC front crossmember with underslung anti-roll bar, Tarett monoballs, Koni Sport rear with 200 lb adjustible-perch springs from Automotion

oem rear swaybar (I disconnect this to reduce oversteer on track, but makes the car very tossable in AX when connected),

competition alignment by Ken's SporTech,
911 swaybar and oil cooler discharge
Turbo strg - 011 anti-roll bar
