History	I bought a house in 2012 with no garage. The good news is, that allowed me to build a dream garage from scratch. It took a little over a year and a half. I did the design, plans, permits, and most of the framing and construction, with the help of my son. I had the help of a contractor to do the excavation and concrete work.
