Vehicle Name 1974 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 2.7 MFI
Year 1974
Make Porsche
Model 911 Carrera 2.7
History For most of the world, the venerable 1973 911 Carrera RS was reincarnated in the form of the 1974-75 911 Carrera 2.7. Apart from impact bumpers, bigger sway bars, and a handful of added amenities, they are one and the same. I own one of only 18 1974 Carrera coupes ever delivered to Australia. With the exception of high-compression pistons (11.3:1) and SSIs, my car is the same as it was when it came off the wharf, although not quite in the same condition! With some tackier rubber, a badly needed top-end engine rebuild, and a gearbox rebuild, 930s will become fodder!

Quote:No one in this world can you trust. Not men, not women, not beasts. But this ... this (he's really talking about 911s!) you can trust.

One of the reasons it's one of the great 911 engines -- 7,200 redline.
The sting in the tail! Arguably the greatest 911 engine ever.
What a rump!
