Looking to buy a 2000CS???

Being a Porsche guy this is somewhat foreign territory for me. Are their any pointers/ tips I should follow or other forums to frequent? I also like the 2800 & 3.0 CS's so they aren't out of the picture just yet.

I am also curious about possible engine swaps/ upgrades.

Thanks,
Wayne

The 2000cs came with the same m10 4 cylinder that the 2002 and 320i came with so the m20 6 cylinder and even the m30 as used in the 2800 and 3.0cs cars should fit. The s14 from the '88 m3 will also fit as well as the newer m50/52/54 six cylinders.
This is a good e9 site, they could probably help.

Thank you Ken,

I was affraid since the 2000 had a shorter nose a six cylinder might not squeeze in. This opens up a lot of new options.
