700 Owners Society- Where are You?

Can anyone tell me where all the SOS survivors are now? I have four 700 Baur cars but can't seem to locate anyone restoring or collecting them. Any one have any leads to groups or forums?

might be old news, but theres several pages of hits if you do a search on google.de for the bmw 700, bmw 700 forum, etc. Though the hits are in german, theres a button to translate them into english

https://www.google.de/#q=bmw+700

never heard of it before, but nice looking car

good luck with the search

Years ago, I lived around the corner from Paul (the guy who organized the SOS) so from an early age I was really interested in the 700s. Funny thing is that pretty much across the street some guy had a herd of Metropolitans, but I never got interested in those.... Anyway, now that I'm a working adult I have been searching for a nice 700 to work on. So my first step was to see if Paul was still into 700s. What I learned is that he got married and moved on. Nobody picked up the organization duties.

From my searching -which is still going on, but with less enthusiasm with the current "bubble pricing"- I have come across a few of the ex-members, some of them talk about people trying to revive the newsletter but then nothing happens. I have also heard of a few that sold off their cars and/or parts stashes.

Is there something in particular I might be able to help you with? send me a PM.

New here with a 700 coupe

I had a 700 when I was ninteen (1967) and another two around 1974 which I had to give up. Now I have a nice 1960.
I have found only a couple of places where 700's are discussed:
https://www.bmw700.net/
and
https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/forum/51-700-general-discussion/
Regards, Ray

M 10 and 2002 parts all very cheap at my house in Annapolis if anybody cares, All my early cars rusted away and all that's left is the iron. - Several m 10's - 2 are complete - and a few (weak) trans. Lots of other stuff.

Very cool little car -
