or, if it is a reasonable drive (less than 10hrs. one way) you could do what i did. get a temp insurance on the car, only need the vin#. then take a plate off another vehicle and just drive the new car.
i did this because the cost of a ticket for no reg. was $85.00 and the cost of transport was about $1,000.00. i didn't get caught  ------------------ 91C2 Targa |
