83 944 w/ very rough idle in the morning
Hi ya'll.
I sure do need some professional advice, my 944 just had a new timing belt and runs great when its warmed up, but have noticed that the gas mileage is about 100 miles less to a tank, plus the idle in the morning is very rough until she gets warmed up. I have to keep my foot on it {ever so gently} and she really seems to use a lot of gas as the needle indicates while we wait for it to warm up. After that she runs like a scalded dog, even tho the fuel mixture smells funny. Help! I sure would appreciate any feedback. We dont have any Porsche mechanics in this neck of the woods and I am afeared to take it to [just anybody]. RIP EARLY S WARREN thanks fb |
