Hawk CTC-60 pads clunking
I changed my BMW M2 brake pads to Hawk DTC-60 pads for an event this weekend. They occasionally clunk when I brake going forward and then reverse and brake. I have seen this with other OEM brake pads when I had a Subaru STI. I think the Hawk pads are just ever so slightly smaller than the original Brembo brakes. It doesn't happen as much when going forward and repeatedly braking. I just think the pads slide a little. Is this an issue? As I said, I have seen it with other cars, but didn't want it to be an issue on the track.
Thanks, LED |
