    The AH 3000 was a 1965 model, I think. He bought it in 1967 or 1968 for $400. The PO had hit a tree and one of the front fenders was damaged. My dad fixed the fender and we drove it as a family car until 1970 wen we moved to a different state and didn't want to take it with us. He sold it for $800 and thought he made a killing. :>) I was very young at the time, but I know he had issues with the carburetors and the exhaust. Railroad tracks would rip the exhaust right off of the car. It had the "jump" seats in the rear, so me and my two sisters rode back there (obviously in the days before seat belt usage...). My dad and I saw a 3000 for sale a few years ago and went to look at it. What was amazing to me was the smell. That smell of leather and wood brought back memories...
