    Hi Tidybuoy,

I have my seats on sale. They came witht he car and when I bought the car it looks liek it was brand new. I swap my seats because I wanted lumbar support. take a look and let me know if it matches what you are looking

I don't need the center section as that's one part that I already have. Now I'm complete.

I had the exact symptoms that you describe. My car would continue to go because the felx damper has metal parts that will still turn the wheels to get you home.

The best way to confirm is to look under the car with a flashlight. there is a 2" hole in te bell housing (that might have a rubber plug on it). You can shine a light into this hole and you will see the damper. The rubber should be shreaded and you also might have small chunks of rubber on the ground.

    Hopethis helps and good luck.......Vern

just read your post i have a 89 na auto tranny, this am in dle no noises, but when in gear drive or reverse, i hear an awful clacking noise, coming from under the center console area. metal on metal not a low clunk, clack clack clack etc.....i have 145+k miles on car and i think oem damper...

what types of noises, symptoms of a bad flex plate damper? i have a 87 924s and when that happened, sounded like a bolt was loose and made an awful racket.
