    Mate it seems there is a problem at the back of the ignition switch? Thats the only way fuel pumps could be activated on acc.

    I dont know where to start with mine,
    Ive got it down to bare bones now with only two relays on the panel for my pumps and nothing else,..
    ow im going to add one wire at a time and work out what it does and connect it, ill get there soon i hope

    Well ive stripped out where i could all the (brittle) wiring and replaced with new, also i have only 2 relays running in the trunk and theyre for the fuel pumps, so its at bare bones atm. currently my engine starts and runs and is working but im working out the order of the ignition sequence, because when i turn the key instead of it going to accessesories it puts power straight to the pumps in thr first position, so i think i can suss it out fingers crossed..
    So when i get it to work in its barest form thats when im going to need help because i will need to add the relays ang wiring for the other things like foglights etc.
    I was tihnking of getting a loom and be done with it , but ill see how it goes for now. Ive got plenty of work to do on it in the meantime with the roof and all.
    Problem i have too is that as much as i try i can not understand wiring diagrams, thats why i try to find photos much easier

    Yeah hi I am,
    As ive been restoring and being careful to take photos I stuffed up with the fusebox, because after I took photos of it I cleaned the wires and now as theyre all different colors and combinations I don't know what goes where, ..Ive tried going by prev posts and also looking at wiring diagrams but I can make no sense at all of them,
    That's y I was wondering if you could take a pic of yours because your wiring lyot will be the closest to my car that ive found, be careful when using info here as the US cars are different in many ways than the Euro ROW cars and half the info is incorrect or doesn't apply.
    Ive been doing the last two years what your planning to do and its very rewarding when you can make the car like new again.

    Hi Luke,

    Bit of an intro - Ben is my name. Also based in Adelaide at Mitcham. I'm a big fan of motorsport and cars. Currently have a mazda 808 which i have built myself for improved production. have done all the fabrication work myself (rollcage, built motor, etc).

    Anyway to cut to the chase, i've had a goal to get a 930 before i turn 30 for years now. i'm looking at getting my hands on a cheaper version to restore and have seen this example on car sales in WA which has really stirred my interest:
    1977 Porsche 930 Turbo

    Anyway realising i need to be a little more familiar with the 930 to contemplate purchasing from interstae i'm hoping you may be able to help me out in a quick viewing of yours and maybe a brief chat about the 930s in general if you have some time over the coming weekends?
