    Sorry, I don't know the faults very well. The later US-spec R56 cars (this is for a MINI, right?) did not have a steering lock, so the problem was actually caused by something else. All sorts of problems have been caused by the "clock spring" that's somewhere in the steering wheel hub assembly, and I think others have had INPA (one of the computer systems) problems that have caused similar symptoms.

    I think the best bet is to find a local shop that is experienced with MINIs.

    Faults CC-ID 186 and CC-ID 345 .186 steering lock red alarm , amber alarm 345 witch I thik either blowen alarm bulbs or tyre pressure fault .
    Please help me .
