I have been reading a number of your posts concerning 901 and 911 transmissions.
Here is what I need. I am road racing a 911 here in the Midwest. The tub is a '77, 1900#. The engine and gear box is from a '71. 2.2L engine with about 180HP. (Engine size by rules) 911 gear box 5 speed.
We have broken and or loosened the clutch pivot two times. I would like to go to a push clutch. I would like to be able to keep the 225mm clutch and '71 flywheel if possible. I know I need the push cable, and release arm. Can I just relocate the threaded boss for the push type pivot? I have pictures, but I don't see how to post them. It looks like I have the later '71 case.
