    Hi Bill,

I don't think I can part with them right now! Sorry. I so wish the super ferry would have kept running. I love TBI, let me know if you come over this way.

Shan, I saw an old post where you constructed carbon fiber (?) targa top that did not require use of oem top frame? I am looking for replacement to old folding targa top and would really like to find replacement that I can simply bolt and go. Everything I see out there requires a "do it yourself" project.

Hey Shane, here's a link to the carbon fan shroud kit. Price isn't too bad either(for carbon stuff).

Dont forget, do all of your adjustments on a warm engine, you my have a crappy idle until it is warmed up, but that is OK you want your car to run best in a warmed up condition.

Once you get close you need to take the car out and drive the dog **** out of it, drive it like you dont have a clue how to shift, you have to get the rings seated and worn in.

Yes 4500 is the ballpark you want to play in. Seriously in third gear get to about 4K and stomp on it. You should launch to about 100 MPH immediatly.

You poor idle could be a result of a nubmer of things. Most likely it is a result of the Carbs being out of balance, or your timing being off. Set your timing to be all in at about 3500 RPMs and dont worry about idle.

Then tune your carbs so they can idle at that setting.

Fine tune and adjust your carbs Air and idle.

Once you get it to idle as smooth as you can you can then back a little timing out to smooth the idle, or leave it as is for better top end.
