    WOW, I just saw this. Sorry to not have replied. In my case, IIRC, my odometer somehow JUMPED 20k miles. I was never able to figure out what caused that. The other issue I had was the speed input needed to be inserted only about HALFWAY into the tranny to get the speedometer to register. I just used some washers.

    Hey coupe, did you ever find out what the problem was with the speedo after your odometer fix? I have the same problem. 83vinny911
