I got your name form a couple of guys in response to my inquiries about Prototypo steering wheels with out any dish.

The car I want to install a Prototypo in is a red '74 911 'hot rod'. It has Carrera rear flairs, yellowbird front and rear shells, bright work, H4's with chrome rings, and suspension and brakes from an '86. The engine is a 3.2 engine with a euro 915. Wheels are 'old style' BBS gold center wheels with the center hub. The interior is black leather, with electric seats from a mid 90s Carrera (for my comfort). I have deleted the radio and heater controls and the dash only has a fog light switch to the right of the steering column. I think an aluminum finish flat prototypo would set off the car nicely. However I am not going to spend a small fortune on one, when I can buy one that is dished from our host for $190. I would go $400 or $500 but cannot justify more than that just to have a 'no dish' wheel.

Any advice, or am I totally dreaming?

    Hey Mark

How ya' been? I have 2 NOS Racemark steering wheels similar to yours! Mine do not have the embossed Raid logo though. 365mm slightly dished with boxes.

You are correct; Racemark wheels have the same hole pattern as Nardi, but the hole are bigger, M6 I believe. The M5's work ok in a generic hub or Nardi hub but the bolts sit down in the countersink and are not flush with the wheel surface. A little goofy, but OK.

    Hi Mark,
Saw some pictures of your car on the Bear Mtn run. New ride height looks great. Nice to see you getting some miles in.
