I'm using an older Dell laptop and using DB9 to DB9. no problems with that setup. however, my old Dell just crapped out on me today, so I expect that I'll be switching to a newer laptop. I'll let you know how it goes. Your setup should work fine. Have you verified that the M'squirt is powered up (I know that key is on, but is the M'squirt unit on?) did you previously tune it up, using this laptop connection? If so.........What changed?
