    Hi John,

Sorry to bother. But my '89 Targa Headlight switch is acting wonky. I wanted your opinion as to whether it is fried. I was replacing the TS Assembly on the steering column and trying to get the proper wires onto the headlight switch. The TS Stalk works, the headlights operate as they should as do the turnsignals.

I think I turned the knob too hard before you made me aware of the hole in the shaft. Now the 58a term. is hot when the car is off and the HL switch is in the off position. As soon as I pull the knob into either the parking light or headlight positions, the terminal is no longer hot and the guage lights go off.

The lights work fine, but I get no parking lights in the parking lights position on the switch, although the green light in the Speedo does illuminaye in this position. Also, my foglights are not working in any position, and they definitely worked before the repair.

Thanks again for all your help.

    Michael Gershon
