Dude, I wouldn't give up. I'm in the same boat - just thought my prob was rare and no one wanted to hear about it. INGO and Landwerlan blow me away. Yes, twins indeed! I just noticed I don't really have many pictures of the car, sad but true. I'll have to take some this weekend after I get her shined up. Here are some I posted awhile back, though for some reason I took them with the bra on with poor lighting, so it doesn't really do it justice.

Anyway, I think you are right about the oem being too bright...this was the same problem I had with the touch-up bottle I bought through Tower. Car has never had work done so UV must have faded to some degree. I suppose I will have to find a place that can custom match from a chip, as I didn't have much luck trying to adjust the touchup paint I got by hand.

Hey Draco, I was just reading your thread on the strut bar. I noticed we have very similar 911's, mine is also an '85 marble grey carrera targa. I was just wondering if you have had any luck getting touch-up paint for your car?? I tried Tower Paint last time with poor results...
