    Well I thought it was fixed. It wasn't normal temp. It to longer time because it was real cold. Drove it to normal temp today the same problem. Back to the blackboard. Keep you posted.

    Rough idle when warm. Replaced all vacuum lines ( several leaks ), adjusted thottle. Backfire protection valve was leaking, resealed and adjusted. Problem fixed. Thanks for the help. I will be on the form. Next job is Wevo semi-solid motor mounts, carbon fiber monoball strut brace. After that new Bilstein front and back rebuilt. I have to send Bilstein all shocks to have them tune for my driving. I'll be in touch

    Getting ready to take on the oil mess under my car. I wanted to know if you think I should use a steel brush on the top of the heat exchanges or just a stiff nylon one? Most of the build up is on the passenger side exchanger. I am hoping that the oil came from the lower valve cover which I am changing out to a Turbo. Been looking for a 1/4" torque wrench however, I have not been able to find one for under $200. That's not in my budget right now so not sure what I am going to do. The smallest one you can rent are 3/8" which are to long/big.

    Sorry to bother you but I have a 1970 911 Targa that's in dire need of roof adjustment and saw in an old post that you happened to have some manuals. Would it be possible to obtain a copy of these?

    Dude, I wouldn't give up. I'm in the same boat - just thought my prob was rare and no one wanted to hear about it. INGO and Landwerlan blow me away. I'm still playing catch up on suspension issues etc. And you coerced me into not comitting the sin I hate, folks who post probs and then no answer. peace and thanks Jim, Dan
