Thanks Rick, I did figure it out. New seals went in perfect with no "bacon" edges or anything weird. I also replaced the door seals. What a delight to drive at freeway speeds and not have 20 different wind whistles going on... I can actually put the tunes on now and enjoy. Just in time for the epic run from So. Cal to the Texas Hill Country Rallye in a few days.
Hi Bob, you have to remove the upholstery panel to access and loosen a bolt under the wind wing that controls the tension. The hinge on the top has a small nut that can be loosened once the wind wing weather seal is pulled out of the track. That's all that holds it in. Rick
Hello Rod, yes you are at the right place. You can see details about my product on my website Home. You can also order from the site. It is a little easier for me to communicate through email, so contact me there and tell me about your application and problem. Regards, Bob@AshlockTech.com
I'm considering modifying my 1987 3.2 Tach. It will require me to remove some 'board' that is in side. If I remove the board I'm told the tach won't function. Will your tach-adapt allow my tach to operate without its internal board? And, if so where can I buy your Tach-Adapt? Griff
