I saw the picture of the grill insert for your red turbo tail. Where did you get them? I need a pair for my car. Much appreciated.

Hi Peter. I have searched through the Weber tune up threads and can't seem to find what is probably a simple answer to my question. I have a 1970 911T and little experience in tuning the webers but I'm giving it a go as I want to know my car better! I'm using a combination of the 101 Projects book and internet advice but still having trouble with popping out of the stacks. I've started off with the mixture screws turned fully in then backed out 2 turns and balanced each side. My question is do you adjust each mixture screw the same until the popping stops or each stack? When I turn them all out equally the mixture becomes very rich but I still have a popping, from number 1 cylinder when revved? Could you help? Thanks Peter, kind regards Mark...

    Peter,
I read your post about the car that Topper had raced in IMSA, I am doing a book about Pro-raced 914s and would like to pick you brain.

    Regards,

Hey Pete!!! How are you? It's Jesse V. I was a customer of yours for more than 15 years. Remember? Two 944's then a 1995 993 Cab (Triple Black). Your leaving the repair business was one of the reasons I delayed purchasing another 911. I cant find anyone to trust with non-warranty repairs. Anyway, I am currently driving a 2009 997. What have you been doing with yourself all these years?

    Jesse
