Thanks, I'm liking the 3.6. I'm using an older Dell laptop and using DB9 to DB9. no problems with that setup. however, my old Dell just crapped out on me today, so I expect that I'll be switching to a newer laptop. I'll let you know how it goes. Your setup should work fine. Have you verified that the M'squirt is powered up (I know that key is on, but is the M'squirt unit on?) did you previously tune it up, using this laptop connection? If so.........What changed?

Hey Al, Great looking Motor! I saw you fired up megasquirt prior to firing your engine on your youtube post. Can you tell me what connection from the ecu to the laptop your using? I'm trying the cable with the db9 end into a usb patch cord for the laptop but cannot get a connection, and yes I have the key on. Any tricks? Thanks, Will
