I meant maybe that you had 962 cockpit photos from the 80 s that show that particular feature that we could assosciates with our car

    Hi paul
we are trying to find the identity of the 962 with no numbers(you took photos of this one at rennsport ,it was grey and converted to street form,it belonged to carlos dequesada back then)
the car is now apart and we are investing some unusual clues
my guess is that you might have taken a photo of a car with such a caracteristic
exactly a photo of a cockpit with four inserts on each longitudinals (driver side the shifter rod goes on top of that
any help would be greatly appreciated
many porsches experts looked at the car but never found out is true number
we now know for sure it is between 129-137
if you want i could send you a photo
    olivier rivard
oh the car is in canada and can be seen at
and i can be reach at

    Hi Paul
Hope you well. Can you please give me your private email address? My one is: (nothing serious or urgent, just about -as usual! - looking for some photos about a specific car). Many thanks in advance, Mauro Borella

I was wondering if you had any more pic's of the car in random porsche photos post 9247? It looks like a 7o's carrera 2.7 from the roof?

    Thanks in advance

I noticed that in an older post you say you have pictures of Jim Busbys 320 Turbo on your computer. I am currently restoring the car and am always looking for new pictures, mostly mechanical, body off, pit shots are what I really like to see.
I would really appreciate seeing them if possible. I am not on this site very often so if you could repond to my normal address, I would appreciate it.
    Thank You in advance.

Hello Paul, Could you give me information about the headlight lenses with the black "C" on that first silver ducktail 911 0n your post. My 1969 911S has the same lenses and the driver's side has a stone chip (I got it the first day I owned the car in 1999!). I'd like to replace the lens if it isn't the cost of a small house.

    Hi Paul,
I am new to the forum and having a great time going through your collection of Porsche photographs.
    You have quite the collection!
I am interested in replicating the ONS R1 fire engine Porsche 914/6 GT, and have difficulty obtaining good photos. I figured i'd come to you,
as you seem to be the authorty when it comes to pictures.
    I have posted a topic n the 914 section.
    Any assistance would be appreciated,
    thanks again,
    Garth Mackenzie

I like Minilite too. For some reason early 911 racecars used them on the rear. Maybe they could get custom offsets cheaper than the Fuchs.

Do you remember any pictures of early 911's with minilite wheels. I've always liked them and thought they would look great on an early street car trying to look just a little different.

    Thanks Kent Olsen
