Hi Dean, happy to freight at your cost. I'll let the auction run though as I have 4 other watchers but if it doesn't sell i'll let you know. Cheers, Jae

    Hi Porschetub

Fellow kiwi and 944 owner here. Your comment around parts and freight being expensive. perhaps we should find all the Kiwis on this site and see if we can look at reducing the cost of freight by combining orders

Hi,sorry for the slow reply, locked flywheel ,torqued up front pulley nut ,cranked engine with fuel pump relay out ,oil pressure came up fairly quickly, replaced relay and started engine but noisey and oil pressure fluctuating ALOT ????&###.
Shutdown engine after checking under bonnet, front pulley running WAY out of whack appears crank "nose'' is bent and this was confirmed after removing belt cover.
Park car next to project shed (with cover on) will look @ options when I get over this ????.

Thank guys I'am impressed with the help I've recieved.
Will have to make a flywheel lock, can anyone supply the hole centre measurements for base plate where it goes on to the starter bolts /studs?
Will retighten the bolt ,when the rain stops as 944 is outside, hopefully I can post good news.
The biggest problem here in New Zealand there are not alot of these cars around so parts usually involve a fair amount of searching around, new consumable parts are expensive ,Mahle oil filter is around $40 USD for example.
I tend to buy direct from Ebay @ more sensible prices with good result most of the time freight can cost more than the parts @ times though.
