I'm in DC. The car was a 1971 914 1.7. The p.o. spent a ton of money converting it to a six. It's a great conversion and every mechanic that sees it compliments it. It's got 911 spindles and hubs with Carrera brakes. I rebuilt the front calipers and installed new disks not that long ago. Also I replaced pads all the way around with Hawks. It has a full Motronic '89 3.2 that runs flawlessly. I installed a rennshifter last year and it shifts nicely. Tranny is a 901 built by Fairbanks. Paint is ok but could use a respray (was mostly a track car). It has a cage and koenig race seats with harnesses. I had a factory style welded engine mount installed last year. Also, has 911 hydraulic clutch set up with a 19mm master cylinder and adjustable brake bias. I don't really want to get rid of it, but I have a dedicated race car now and the 914 doesn't get driven much. I saw your car and thought it would at least be worth entertaining the idea.
