Hi Alex. I recentlly found your thread regarding the 911 you are restoring. I'm glad you decided to restore it. I think that too many people are too quick to part cars out, thinking only of the money. I'm also very interested that you are from Madeira. My grandfather emigrated to the U.S. from the island of Terceira almost 100 years ago. I'm not sure how close the 2 islands are to each other. Someday I will visit the Azores as I would love to see where he (and I!) came from. My last name is Silva, although my grandfather changed it from DaSilva when he became a U.S. citizen. I've taken up enough of your time but was pleased to see somebody from "home" as a Pelican member. Take care. Greg.
