First of all, let me excuse myself for bothering you.
I just bought your Porsche valve adjustment tool from Pelicans and have some issues with it, so I decided to write you so maybe you can help me.
I’m in the process of reconstructing my engine due to a head stud failure and right now I need to do the valve adjustment / distribution step. As you know, it’s very important to do it right, so I decided to try with no rush to do it perfect: 0.10 mm.
First impression is very good: nice looking tools, well made, etc.
When I first tried to use it, I noticed that what is call tool post groove is not wide enough to fully engage the rocker arms. It just goes barely into the rocker arm.
I tried to use it since this does not seems to be an issue.
It’s seems very easy to use, but I must be doing something wrong, since I continually getting a wrong adjustment: between 0.35 and 0.4 mm, way too much.
Any ideas or inputs on what’s going on?
Thanks in advance for your much appreciated time.
