any help?

Hey everyone. Does anyone know how to fix up a 944?? I was driving home and spun out on something, fish-tailed into a cement guard rail. The car is pretty bad, 99% totaled i think, but i just bought it, have no money to get it fixed at local Porsche dealer (Holberts in Warringotn PA) If anyone knows where someone can help me. Id rather not pay the labor charge at a body shop, but if someone helps me ill pay for them to help me fix the car like a side job. I'm taking it Porsche to have it looked at and have them tell me what parts i need, and a price range for them to do everything. I'm thinking about not fixing the body for a little bit and just getting it running, and getting parts form you guys on Pelican. If you have any insight on this, please tell me. Thank you.

Sorry to hear about the crash. Is it mostly sheet metal and attached goodies--like the lights, etc? Give us a few details--and maybe pics. I suggest you get into your local school system's adult ed auto body class. You'll never regret it. Good luck, and keep us posted on how the car progresses.

hey pinetree. i was thinking about doing that, but when i looked at her in the light, she looked real bad. But do you know how much the class would have been for them to fix her up? Id have to pay for parts, but any labor? And a friend of mine said that they took her car to one of those schools for a paint job, and they did a terible job on it, so thats what turned me away from the school, but now i regret it.

You should try and pick up a roller if you really like the car. you could switch out the bad and the good and come away with spare parts. If you locate a roller and need help getting it drop me a pm. We will see what we can do to help you out!
