Replaced fuel filter, no fuel getting to engine

I replaced the fuel filter on my Mini Cooper 2006 R53. What I guess is a pump buzzes for 2 or 3 seconds then quits when I turn on ignition. No fuel is getting to the engine. Any ideas what it causing this?

I had the same problem ,I found that I didn't have enough gas ,I added a gallon to the tank and the car started up instantly. The buzzing noise you hear is a good noise, if you don't hear it your fuel pump is probably bad.
