R53 jcw check engine light
 

Hello everybody! I’m new here and is desprately looking for help.

I have a 2006 jcw that shows a few codes. But mainly shows a fault when driving.
Between 1500 and 2000 rpm it behaves like you ease off the throttle pedal and looses power. This is often in 6th gear around 60-80 km/h. I have changed the by pass shut off valve with no luck.

Anyone with similar experience?

Do you have a MINI diag book to look up the codes? I don't have mine handy at the moment, but that book would be very helpful to you. I think 5E5C is something related to traction/stability control. https://www.pelicanparts.com/MINI/catalog/shopcart/BOOK/POR_BOOK_minibk_pg2.htm is the book.
