A/C issues
 

A/C died last month.

I replaced the A/C coil clutch, and A/C was working again for about two weeks.

Then yesterday, I started getting Hot air again, but a new noise that seems to be coming from inside the dash?

I checked the refrigerant charge yesterday and it was ok.

TOday when I start the car with the A/C off, I noticed that I immediately get the sound.

It almost sounds like gas escaping? but with some perculating changes. It will get louder, but then at other times go away completely. This is with the A/C on or off.

Any suggestions?

When you checked the charge were you using a professional set of gauges to monitor high and low side or just a cheapy for the low side? It sounds like the high side head pressure maybe trying to vent, but it shouldn’t happen in the dash, unless you blew a leak in the evaporator, which isn’t likely.
