Bought a 2005 Mini Cooper S that has been sitting for more than 3 yrs.

Bought a 2005 Mini Cooper S that has been sitting for more than 3 yrs. Previous owner was working on the engine/transmission and passed away.
Looks like he was changing transmission fluid. I see a funnel connected to one of the ports on the transmission bell housing. He did not remove the refill hole.

First question is, after I remove the funnel, what goes on that port?

2nd question. How do you somehow get rid of all the old tank. It got a full tank. I tried to disconnect the fuel line under the intercooler and when I turned on the ignition, it only pumped fuel for a few second.

Pull the back seat up and remove the pump and filter housing. You can siphon the tank from there. I would strongly recommend replacing the filter it’s in the passenger side housing and can be bought online. Mine was nasty when I changed it at 150k
