R50 clutch problems
 

The clutch on my mini appears to not be releasing properly. In addition, the clutch chatters when starting off in first gear. I’ve been told that this is probably due to a defective clutch slave cylinder. But I’ve also been told that if it is a defective slave cylinder. You should see some seepage of brake fluid around the cylinder, which I do not see.

Any suggestions?
