overheated trouble

overheated in la 210 construction zone car started miisfiring check eng lite started blinking car stopped got towed now home went to start next day spins will not fire is ecu stuck in limp mode ?? if so how do i get it out tried unhooking bat or did i just fry motor

Did you check the oil, my 09 clubman dumped all the coolant into the oil. Basically the same symptoms. If the oil's over full and the radiator's empty you may have lost a freezout plug from the front of the head into the timing chain area, letting the water into the oil- mine did just that~
