Vanos motor problems
 

My car broke a few weeks ago and my mechanics struggling to fix it. the codes thrown up point to a short circuit, open circuit or line disconnection. my mechanic has tested all wiring form the motor to the ecu and coudn't find a problem there so thought maybe it was shorting in the motor. He's replaced that but the car will not complete a relearn procedure and it still throwing out the same code. they are 2DC0 Valvetronic servomotor, activation, Short circuit to GRD. 2E0C Valvetronic servomotor, activation, watt phase: Line disconnection. 2DD6 Valvetronic, servomotor, position: Short-circuit or Line break (open circuit). ant ideas would be amazing. him and i are stumped.
