Aftermarket CD Changer for Cooper S?
Just got delivery on new 2003 Cooper S. Have stock CD in dash, but considering adding CD changer. Have seen many posts on e-bay for a "no name" that are supposed to be plug'n'play.
1. Where does CD changer go on an "S"? Which side of trunk? Upright? 2. Has anybody bought the "ebay" changer? Looks like it usually goes for about $280. Work ok with the stock head unit? 3. Other ideas? thanks! Mark

Update: Decided to take advantage of the Mini (2003 only) AUS input. Went with an Archos hard-drive MP3 player. Similar to iPod, but cheaper and more functions. I saved all the trunk space and now have my complete music collection in one place. Holds 500 CDs and quality is great! Cost: less than $300.
