brake drag

while changeing wheels i noticed the right rear wheel was hard to turn,, took off the calper and it turned free,, so backed off the emergency brake ajuster behind the pad on the calper ,, didn't help any,, but the strange part is if you drive the car for 2 or 3 miles then come to a stop not using the brakes ,,, jack up the car the right rear is so tight you have trouble turning the wheel,,, while the left rear will spin around 2 times ,,, now if you press on the brake pedle and let off of it the right rear that was tight now becomes almost as lose as the left one, ,, if you wait about 20 minutes or so it gets tight again,,,, is this crazy or what,,,, all the brake calpiers have a line going to the ABS so i would think the problem has got to be the caliper so something in the ABS,,, has anyone got any ideas,, all this is on an 04 cooper,,

I have an 03 Cooper and just changed the brake pads. One thing you might want to try is pull the caliper and push the piston back in. The hard part is it has to be screwed back in. To do this use a set of channel locks and push down on the piston while turning it at the same time. This might help with the drag.
