HELP part number for Fuel pump 2004 Mini cooper R50

Hello !

I have a 2004 R50 mini cooper- looking for the right part to order, most places say up to 07/2004 or after 07/2004. rang Mini and checked my build date was after 07/2004 so I am thinking yey got that sorted, then he said cause it so close to the change over date my mini could have the old part in it for up to 07/2004 grrrr Pulled out back seats, undid cover- there are numbers on the top of the fuel filter ring that holds it in place ( I haven t taken anything out yet ) the numbers are:

Says " Germany JS"
BMW 5 762417

is there anyway to tell from that which fuel pump I should be buying? or do I need to pull out the pump grrr
