my 2003 mini S power steering suddenly stop working after i changed my car battery, will take days before i can have it fix, Can i still use the car without endangering cause more problems with it?. Thanks

I would not suggest driving the vehicle with a malfunctioning power steering pump. The steering becomes stiff, creating an unsafe situation.
