Hi Nick,

thanks for the article, very informative.
I was wondering about part interchangeability. Due to class restrictions we need to take our 1.6 N18 engine to 1.4 liters.
I was wondering if the 1.4 Tritec crankshaft would fit in the 1.6 N18.

The Tritec engines and the New Generation engines have different manufacturers. My guess would be no.
